紫陽花

【紫陽花】

６月から７月にかけて開花、白・青・紫又は赤の萼（がく）が大きく発達した装飾花をもつ。
古くは、「万葉集」の中にも詠まれている。
花（萼）の色は、アントシアニン色素によるもの（紫陽花はその一種デルフィニジン）。これに補助色素と、アルミニウムのイオンが加わると青色の花となる。紫陽花は土壌のPHによって花の色が変わり、一般に「酸性ならば青、アルカリ性ならば赤」になると言われている。
（リトマス試験紙は、青⇒赤は酸性、赤⇒青はアルカリ性？）これは、アルミニウムが根から吸収されやすいイオンの形になるかどうかにPHが影響するため。
紫陽花の開花はもう少し先と思っていましたが、ふと道端に咲き始めた紫陽花。今年は暖かいためか梅、桜、薔薇にはじまり、色々な花の開花が例年より少し早まっている様に思う。通勤電車の車窓から見える“王子飛鳥山の紫陽花”は、まだ咲き始めたところ。満開はいつ頃か。早ければ今週末から来週になるのでしょうか？
今年は、飛鳥山の紫陽花を撮影して来ます。

【 hydrangea 】

From June to July, blooming, white-blue-purple or red calyx (calyx) has decorative flowers developed greatly.
In old days, it is also written in "Manyoshu".
The color of the flower (calyx) is due to anthocyanin pigment (hydrangea is a kind of delphinidin). When added with an auxiliary dye and aluminum ions, it becomes a blue flower. Hydrangea is said to change the color of the flower depending on the pH of the soil, it is generally said to be "blue if it is acidic, red if it is alkaline."
(Litmus paper is blue ⇒ red is acidic, red ⇒ blue is alkaline?) This is because PH affects whether aluminum will be in the form of ions that are easily absorbed from the roots.
Hydrangea's flowering was thought a little earlier, but hydrangea which began to bloom at the roadside suddenly. Because of warm weather this year it starts with plum, cherry blossoms, roses, I think that the flowering of various flowers is a little earlier than usual. "Hydrangea of Prince Asukayama" which can be seen from the train window of commuter train has just started to bloom. When is the full bloom? Will it be next week from this weekend as soon as possible?
This year, I will shoot Hydrangea from Asukayama.
